Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Program Joins the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers

The Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Program at the Faculty of Architecture and Design has been officially accepted as an Educational Member of the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers (IFI), effective as of 2025.

Recognized as one of the world’s leading organizations representing the interior architecture profession worldwide, IFI brings together educational institutions, professional associations, practitioners, and supporting organizations with the shared aim of elevating the discipline’s social impact, cultural responsibility, and global visibility.

Through this educational membership, our undergraduate program will enhance its visibility across international professional platforms, formally demonstrate its alignment with global equivalency standards, and expand its international reach. In addition, the use of the IFI brand in academic events hosted by the program will further strengthen its global presence, highlighting Özyeğin University’s commitment to excellence in design education and its active role within the international interior architecture community.
