OzU Rover Team Ranks Highest Among Turkish Teams at ERC 2025
OzU continues to transform its pioneering theoretical research in engineering into real-world applications, steadily building a strong reputation in the field of space robotics with its achievements. Most recently, the OzU Rover Team added a new milestone to this growing success by becoming one of only two finalist teams from Türkiye out of 20 teams nationwide to advance to the finals of the European Rover Challenge (ERC) 2025.
Led by Assoc. Prof. Özkan Bebek from the Mechanical Engineering Department at Özyeğin University, which comprises students from various departments within the Faculty of Engineering, led the OzU Rover Team, proudly representing Türkiye at ERC 2025. Reaching the finals as one of the two teams from Türkiye, the OzU Rover Team ranked 24th among 102 teams worldwide that applied to compete in this prestigious international competition.
