Building on this momentum, the Global Leadership Academy, a joint initiative of the Global Turks Foundation and Özyeğin University, opens a new pathway for Turkish professionals preparing to lead on a global scale.

As Türkiye’s entrepreneurial research university with high global impact, Özyeğin University offers more than an educational program through this partnership; it introduces a new model for “next-generation Turkish leadership.” Designed to cultivate leaders with global impact, the Academy redefines leadership through self-awareness, cultural agility, and transformation-driven strategic capabilities.

“We Are Redefining Leadership”

According to Prof. Barış Tan, President of Özyeğin University, the Academy designs not merely a classroom environment, but a holistic learning ecosystem tailored to meet the demands of our time:

“The Global Leadership Academy offers an innovative learning environment that redefines leadership in line with the needs of today’s world. Our goal is to ensure that young Turkish leaders become more visible and more influential on the global stage.”

The program will begin on January 23, 2026, with an inaugural cohort of 15 student leaders, who will receive mentorship from prominent figures in the global business community. Upon completion of the six-month program, participants will earn an internationally recognized certificate.

Building the ‘Global Turk’ Brand

Ayşegül Dicle Aydın, Founder and President of the Global Turks Foundation, captured the vision of the Academy in her words:
