New Vision: AI Research and Education Center

At a time when AI technologies are transforming every aspect of life, Özyeğin University has taken a strategic step in line with its vision to build a global AI Research and Education Center. In the pursuit of this vision:

• AI-focused research is being supported across all seven faculties,
• 50 new full-time faculty members and 100 visiting faculty members are joining the University,
• An interdisciplinary structure is built to unlock the full potential of students and researchers.

AI Platform: A Robust Bridge Between Academia, the Private Sector, and the Public Sector

Launched in 2025, the OzU AI Platform stands as a pioneering initiative in Türkiye, uniting academia, the business world, and technology leaders around a shared vision for the future of artificial intelligence. Representing one of the most comprehensive academic–private sector collaborations in the country, the Platform brings together senior executives from 24 leading international institutions, forging a robust bridge between academia and the business world.

OzU AI Week: A Supra-Disciplinary Idea Marathon

Held on October 13–17, 2025, OzU AI Week left a lasting impression as a large-scale forum for intellectual exchange at the intersection of science, technology, and social transformation. Bringing together distinguished business leaders, academics, and field experts, the week featured more than 20 panels and workshops on topics ranging from “AI in Finance” and “AI in Agriculture” to “Gender Equality” and “Artificial Intelligence.

Shaping the Future Through Collective Intelligence

Held recently, the Inaugural Meeting of the OzU AI Platform marked the Platform’s first major gathering, offering a truly multi-stakeholder vision to explore sectoral applications of artificial intelligence and ethical governance in depth. Visionary leaders, including Hüsnü M. Özyeğin, Murat Özyeğin, Gülser Corat, and Ayşegül İldeniz, shared their perspectives and enthusiasm with industry leaders in attendance.
