Özyeğin University Launches a Panel Series In Response to the Business World’s Need for Local Insight

Özyeğin University has launched “ThoughtFront: Conversations Shaping Business,” a new panel series led by the Faculty of Business, in response to the business world’s growing need for local insight. Designed as a platform for mutual exchange, the series aims to bring academia and the business community together to foster dialogue and shared understanding.

Held four times a year, the ThoughtFront panels form a key pillar of a broader platform for strategic interactions through which the Faculty of Business highlights its focus on sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship. By convening universities, academics, and industry representatives under the same roof, the series aims to translate real-world experience and academic expertise into applicable and innovative solutions that can inform the decision-making processes of the business world.

At the same time, the series aims to reinforce the role of the Özyeğin University Faculty of Business as a pioneering center that not only produces knowledge but also actively shares its powerful impact, further strengthening its contribution to the development of the business ecosystem in Türkiye.

ThoughtFront Series Kicks Off in Collaboration with KAGİDER

The opening panel of the series, held with the participation of Esra Bezircioğlu, President of KAGİDER, explored the entrepreneurial spirit, strategic foresight, and the contributions of academic perspectives to the business community. Participants experienced firsthand the significance of this new platform, which bridges the University’s knowledge base with the practical needs of the business world.

Throughout the 2025–2026 academic year, the ThoughtFront series will continue to bring academia and industry together around pressing and compelling topics. Following the opening panel, the second installment took place on October 2, 2025, under the theme “From Markets to Models: Managing Risk Under Uncertainty.” The next panel took place on December 4, 2025, under the title “From Purpose to Impact: Brands and Society.” The series will continue in 2026 with a panel on February 26, 2026, under the theme of “Diversity and Inclusive Leadership,” and will conclude on June 4, 2026, with a final discussion centered on “The Circular Economy.”
