Begüm İndirkaş Makes History as Philips’ First Female and Non-Dutch Plant Manager

Begüm İndirkaş, a 2017 graduate of our Industrial Engineering Program, became Philips’ first female and non-Dutch plant manager at the age of 30. After graduating from OzU, İndirkaş earned her master’s degree from Tilburg University and built her career in international supply chain and operations management.

Her leadership role at Philips Best Campus – Imaging Components reflects a powerful combination of technical expertise, an unwavering commitment to continuous improvement, and a global career outlook. İndirkaş’s journey stands as an inspiring example of the career paths our alumni are pursuing toward senior leadership roles at international companies.
