Building on its strong track record of research excellence, Özyeğin University achieved another remarkable success, with nine of its projects selected for funding in the first cycle of the 2026 TÜBİTAK 1001 Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program. The success of nine research projects further strengthens the University’s position among Türkiye’s leading higher education institutions in research performance.

This cycle stands out not only for the number of projects funded, but also for the breadth of research represented across the University. For the first time, all of our faculties applied to the TÜBİTAK 1001 Program, with funded projects spanning the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Faculty of Aviation and Aeronautical Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Social Sciences, and Faculty of Engineering. This broad representation highlights our growing research capacity across disciplines and the strength of our interdisciplinary research culture.

Covering diverse fields of research, these projects also showcase the diversity of our research ecosystem and the strength of our research capabilities, while reflecting our commitment to making research excellence a lasting institutional priority.
