Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the THE Sustainability Impact Rankings 2026 placed Özyeğin University among the top three foundation universities in Türkiye for the eighth consecutive year. The University ranked third among foundation universities in Türkiye and placed in the 401–600 band among 1,603 universities evaluated worldwide.
Özyeğin University stood out with its particularly strong performance in SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), ranking among the top 200 universities globally in each of these categories. The results highlight the impact of Özyeğin University’s sustainable campus practices, responsible resource management, and social impact-driven initiatives.
The University’s rise in SDG 6 highlights the international recognition of initiatives undertaken as part of the “Year of Water,” while also demonstrating the consistent results of its long-term commitment to sustainability.
