Turgay Bulut, a graduate of the Undergraduate Computer Science Program and a current student in the Thesis Master’s Program in Artificial Intelligence, won first place in Türkiye and ranked 106th worldwide while competing individually in the IEEEXtreme Programming Competition.

Meanwhile, our team composed of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science students Emir Tarık Arıcı, Nurkan Fatih Altunel, and Hüseyin Acemli placed fifth in Türkiye and 247th worldwide.

Our students’ achievements highlight the strong international recognition of their algorithmic thinking, problem-solving, and software development skills, while also reflecting the quality of our hands-on engineering education.
